FAQ

Common questions

+How does TinyVendor pricing work?

TinyVendor is free until you make a sale. After that, you pay 2% per sale on the Basic tier, or 1% per sale on the Pro tier. There are no monthly fees, no setup costs, and no charge for months where you sell nothing. Payment processor fees (~2.9% + $0.30 on Stripe) apply separately and equally across all platforms.

+Which competitors does TinyVendor compare against?

We currently have detailed comparisons for Gumroad (10% + $0.50 per sale), Stan Store ($29–$99/month subscription), and Ko-fi (5% fee on shop sales on the free plan). Each page includes side-by-side fee math, a feature table, and an honest assessment of when each platform is the better fit.

+Are these comparisons kept up to date?

We aim to update pricing and feature details when platforms make changes. Each comparison page notes the sources used. If you spot something out of date, the best reference is always the competitor's own pricing page — we link to them on each comparison.

+Is TinyVendor the right choice for everyone?

No — and we say so on every comparison page. If you rely on Gumroad's Discover marketplace for traffic, Stan's full creator platform (bookings, courses, email marketing), or Ko-fi's community features and 0% tip fee, those platforms may be the better fit. TinyVendor is optimised for sellers who have their own audience and want simple, low-fee product links.
